Corporate News - February 19, 2021
This week our teams were tested, but they rose above the fury Mother Nature unleashed, and continue to serve residents with dignity and respect and spreading warmth during the frigid cold!
Two of our Texas communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area maintained water and power with a few short outages and a few busted water pipes. Residents’ care and safety were maintained throughout. Team members at our community in Carrollton, Texas continue to care for residents at a nearby skilled nursing community as our building continues to experience power outages and clean-up efforts are underway from water damage.
Our communities in Oklahoma continue to clean-up water damage, but all the residents are in their apartments, warm and well-cared for. Due to extensive repair work, we are experiencing some power fluctuations from time to time as we try to resume normal operations.
At Villagio of Broomfield north of Denver, Colorado, repairs are underway for two water leaks impacting two of our neighborhoods.
At all of our communities, extra safety precautions remain in place, extra attention to creating warm and supportive environments continues and residents and team members alike are “about done” with the cold snap, wanting warmer weather to return as soon as possible, please!
